Form entries that allow a PDF attachment will be listed on the form with a check box. When you attach a PDF file to a return, UltimateTax includes that attachment with the e-file. Only one attachment is allowed per entry.
To attach a PDF file to a UltimateTax Desktop return:
- Click the applicable check box on the line of a form that allows a PDF attachment.
- In the dialog box that appears, select the appropriate PDF file, and then click Save.
- Once Ultimate Tax verifies that the file is in the correct format, click OK.
Note: If you attempt to attach a non-PDF file, you will receive an error message.
To remove a PDF file from a UltimateTax Desktop return
Navigate to the line of the form to which the PDF file is attached.
Clear the check box for this attachment.
