Information stored in the EIN database can be carried forward to the following year's software.
Do this by going to Tools and selecting Utilities/Setup Assistant.
Then select Setup in this window, and then Setup Assistant.
On the left, find Configuration Settings and transfer your information from last year.
It can also be imported/exported within the software.
Note: The EIN database cannot be manually edited.
This applies to all years of software.
