This article explains how to access Corporate and Partnership returns in UltimateTax, what to do if a return is locked, and how to request access to past records.
Access Corporate and Partnership returns
Desktop
To access Corporate or Partnership returns in UltimateTax Desktop, go to the Change Package section of the dashboard. Different packages are found there. Select the package you need, then enter the EIN for the return you want to open.
Online
To access Corporate or Partnership returns in UltimateTax Online, only 1040, 1120S, and 1065 packages are supported. Select the supported package you need, then enter the EIN for the return you want to open.
If a return is locked
If you are locked out of a return, check whether the program is open more than once. UltimateTax may prevent access when the same return is open in multiple sessions or windows. Close any extra instances of the program, then try again.
Access past records
To request access to past records, provide your EFIN to the support team. They can use it to help locate and verify the records you need. Past records can also be found in the Customer Portal's Software section by logging into https://myultimatetax.com.
Additional information
If you still cannot access a return or past record after following these steps, contact UltimateTax Support for further assistance.
