Premiering in the 2025 Online software is the capability to quickly link Asset Worksheets to the appropriate forms for calculating depreciation.
To begin, open a return and add the form you're reporting depreciation on (Sch E, Sch C, etc.) and you'll note the new link icon next to the form in your Loaded Forms window.
After you click this icon, a 4562 and then an Asset Worksheet will be linked to the parent form, in this case the Sch E. This means you now only have to click this link and fill out the newly added Asset Worksheet to calculate depreciation.
To add more Asset Wkt forms to your current parent form, click on the + icon next to the Asset Wkt that was just generated. This will add another blank Asset Wkt already linked to your current parent form.
