You received the following error when transmitting a return. EFIN XXXXXX Not registered (where the X's show your EFIN)."
To fix this issue, do the following:
- Open the return.
- Go to 8879 Form.
- Remove the EFIN.
- Press Tab.
- Re-enter EFIN on 8879.
- Create the e-file.
- Transmit the return.
