Moving Your Information from PC to PC

Sometimes you need to move your information from one computer to another for several reasons. With UltimateTax, the process is easy as ever!

First, please ensure you have a flash drive with sufficient space to move your tax programs.

Next, we will move your tax software to the flash drive:

-Plug the flash drive into the PC you're moving from
-Right-click your UltimateTax program icon on your desktop



-Choose Open File Location
-Click on the Up arrow in the file window to move up a level



-Right-click any folders marked UTSXX (XX is the software year) and select Copy
-Navigate to your flash drive, right-click anywhere and select Paste


To restore your files to another PC, please contact UltimateTax Customer Support, and our technical team can help you install your files onto a new computer
