Keeping your program updated is very important, and not doing so will often lead to many rejections and program errors, which means more frustration! Avoid all that extra fuss by checking for program updates at least once weekly.
To update your program, sign into the UltimateTax software as an Admin. Once signed in, go to Communications at the top of the window, and select Get Program Updates from the dropdown list.
Once you've clicked that, a small download window will open, and begin downloading the latest program update. Wait for this to finish downloading, then you simply need to close your software and reopen it. You will be prompted that an update is ready, and you will be asked to apply it. Please click YES.
As soon as it's finished applying, you will receive a message confirming that you've updated to the latest version.
