Please note that extracting the file is only necessary before the 2017 program. All years after no longer download as .zip files.
If you downloaded the UltimateTax20XX folder, opened it, and cannot get it to install, we need to check and see if you've extracted it. Navigate to where the folder was downloaded. Right-click on the folder and select Extract All. You can also select the folder and click the Extract tab at the top of the window if you are on Windows 8, 8.1, or 10. Windows 11 may treat this a bit differently.
You will need to click this and follow the prompts to extract the files. Then you can install the software.
