For property that is a part rental and part personal or part-year rental, press F9 on Rents received, column A or B, to access the "part-year rental worksheet." (See on-screen instructions.) The amounts from the worksheet carry to the column from which you linked.
If part of the expenses is personal, check the box under line 1 to have the personal portion of mortgage interest and real estate taxes transferred to Schedule A. You need to enter the rental-use percentage in the box under line 3.
