  • Form 1040, Schedule E is used to report income or loss from rental real estate, royalties, partnerships, S corporations, estates, and trusts.

How to access the form: To access the form, you will need to open a 1040 or Business return on the online/desktop and then go to Add Form/Display then in the look for box type Sch E.

Limits to the form: The business variant of this form can only be accessed from the desktop software. This form can be copied, but only with Sch E DUP.
