What is the form used for? :
Use Schedule SE (Form 1040) to figure the tax due on net earnings from self-employment. The Social Security Administration uses the information from Schedule SE to figure your benefits under the social security program. This tax applies no matter how old you are and even if you are already getting social security or Medicare benefits.
Is the form Supported in our program? The Schedule SE form is available for the 1040 package in both the Online and Desktop platforms.
How to access the form: While in a return, use the Add Form function to add a new Schedule SE form to the return.
Limits to the form: This form is only available to the 1040 package. There is a specific Taxpayer version of the form as well as a version for a Spouse. Please note that there is a limit of one of each per return.
