What is the form used for?
- Form SS-4 is for applying for an EIN.
Is the form Supported in our program? Yes, Desktop Business
How to access the form: Start a new return under the Misc. package, go to Form>Add Form/Display Form List and search for 'SS4'.
Limits to the form: There is no limit to how many forms can be added to a return, but the form can not be e-filed and must be submitted to the IRS via US Mail.
