**Issue Resolved**
Scenario:
You efiled a return and received these IRS rejects, all three rejects on the same return
IND-199
'RoutingTransitNum' in 'AtSubmissionCreationGrp' in 'AdditionalFilerInformation' in the Return Header must have a value
IND-200
'DepositorAccountNum' in 'AtSubmissionCreationGrp' in 'AdditionalFilerInformation' in the Return Header must have a value
IND-201
'BankAccountDataCapturedTs' in 'AtSubmissionCreationGrp' in 'AdditionalFilerInformation' in the Return Header must have a value
Solution: Program update 31.05 will be released next week and will prevent IRS Rejects 199/200/201 when filing using Forms 1040EZ, 1040A, and 1040SS. After installing the 31.05 update, you will simply recreate the e-file for any affected return and resend it.
You can hold the returns until you receive that update, or you can perform the workaround steps below.
Workaround:
First, make sure you have the following updates
31.04 program update
US Module version 5
Latest bank module if you offer bank products
for e-file only, non-bank returns
- If the return is an EZ or 1040A, change to a 1040 form and verify the RTN and Account numbers are correct for the direct deposit, create a new efile and send. This works for all returns except 1040 PR SS.
Once you have changed the return to a 1040 and verified the RTN/Account numbers, create a new efile and send.
- If the return is already a 1040, then change above will not work. Therefore, continue with the steps below to repopulate the RTN and Account number in the database:
Open the return
save off the RTN and Account number so you can rekey them later
Delete the RTN and Account number from all forms, including Main Info and 1040 Form
close the return
reopen the return
make a change such as adding a letter to the first name
run diagnostics but do not create the efile
close the return
reopen the return
take the extra letter off the name and rekey the RTN and Account number on all forms needed
Run diagnostics
Create the efile and send
for bank returns
Simply update the program, module, and bank
Open the return,
Edit a field such as retyping the first name.
Close/save the return.
Reopen the return, create a new efile and send.
